Between Tides came from standing near the water, watching the waves move back and forth, nowhere in particular to be. The mental lists start to soften. The noise quiets down. Nothing around you has really changed, but somehow everything feels lighter. This piece is an invitation to that same pause, permission to stop earning your rest, and just watch the light and water move for a while.
